I had quickly fallen into a routine of mapping and cooking but mostly keeping my eyes open for the possible infiltration by the enemy. Now that the enemy had revealed itself and everyone was not of the belief that it needed to resisted and opposed at every turn we stood on a path which could only lead to victory and therefore honor for all.
Did that mean I did not still worry for the soul of Naiem of course I did but at least in the wild he was literally one with his environment but there still remained one mystery that worried me. A few days ago the others had spoken of an animal loyal to Naiem that no one had seen in days that both Naiem and his doppelganger had spoken of but that has still yet to make an appearance. I had even confirmed with Xavier loyal companion and best friend about the location of the reputed eagle but there had still been no sign. So to say I was worried would be to put it mildly and I prayed to Labelas Enoreth the Philosopher of the Seldarine for knowledge and guidance on how to lead Naiem back to the light of the Seldarine.
For the others they had their own deities to protect them and even two priests with which to seek guidance I would endeavor to assist them and hope that they were willing to be true to the quest upon which we had embarked for if I knew one thing if the Harpers were involved it was serious business indeed and by the noble standards as emulated by the Gold Dragon head upon the crest of my family House Durothil and our colors of purest yellow and white I would do my best to stand as a light in the darkness as well as do my best to remind Caspian of all that we needed to stand for.
