After yet another failure by Arrol I realized that I needed a little excitement for the evening with someone who truly knew how to have a good time. None other than the Moon Elf Hollyella Taletreader who I will admit had become my newest infatuation and I will admit after we leave Waterdeep if there is one thing I will miss among other things for the moment she is on the top of the list. So while I had spent the rest of the night seeking inspiration in the Safe Haven common room in had walked Hollyella. She had walked over to my table and told me she had an early night and wondered if I had some time to spare. In truth I realize she had a lot more to say but the ten gold pieces she required soon left my belt pouch and we had left for my room where we spoke in yet another language of which I am also proficient.


Of course I could not really let something that was quite important be missed which was the arrival before Hollyella had even shown up which was the arrival of a large group of Guards loyal to Tyr who had bust in ordered everyone not to move. The Tyr Enforcers had then laid a claim that the Sage Peck Arden was found murdered and that Arrol was wanted for questioning. Now I have to admit while Arrol might have been slow to learn spells there was nothing slow about the way he had literally flipped out of his chair at the arrive of the Tyr Enforcers and made his way up the stairs. In reality before the Tyr Enforcers had even managed to do anything about hit I heard a crash from upstairs and realized that Arrol was on the run. Of course the Enforcers had informed us as they left anyone found associating with Arrol would be wanted for questioning. I was shall we say mildly concerned but not really bothered as I figured Lord Z would find a way to clean things up for Arrol and I would find out about it in the morning.

I should also mention that also in between all of the excitement Falcon and I had managed to talk and he had handed me a Wand of Mage armor that he hoped I could use. I of course took since you can never have enough magical wands. What had surprised me the most although was that he had not asked for anything in return something I had rarely seen in Humans. I had to admit before became occupied with Hollyella that night thoughts of Falcon would not leave my mind.
