Our next day was yet another day of travel that I basically spent wishing I had something more interesting to do then keep watch over a group of adventures who seemed to all be filled with greed and a lust for power. Now don’t get me wrong I like power as much as the next person but I am just not one to be seduced by it. I mean seriously the type of power I seek can just be granted it has to be earned then there is of course the fact that I am mostly suspicious of everyone with the exception of a select few. Since of course none of my current companions had either earned a place on that list or were already on it I really did not have much use for them. No to be honest money was what I needed everything else I could then acquire on my own or with the aid of any companions even hired ones if need be.
That night came again and I noticed that the others had actually noted the lack or animals in our area as well as the odd sleeping patterns of Arrol. Not much came of it buy Niam did find it odd enough to mention the local Druid and convinced the group to detour to meet with the Druid to find out if anything might be out of order and if the Druid might have any advice. That night of course Arrol vanished from the camp and oddly returned just before dawn bloody and wounded. Believe it or not his explanation was that he had been guarding the perimeter of the camp had had encountered something that he was able to handle.
